kitchen goddess katie

the incredible kitchen staff cooked and served 325 meals saturday night. they seem to be always smiling, and they've been great hosts for my blogging station. right now i'm munching on something extra yummy they've prepared, thus the one handed typing. sipping delightful herbal apple iced tea. homemade. by the superawesomest linda. prepped with local herbs an organic bates and schmitt apple juice. yumiliciuos abounds

An eight week old Shiba Inu. Feisty already. But soooo darn cute. Not that dogs are allowed at the festival though, cause they aren't. I think this puppy was a therapy dog ;)

Malika Madremana

Malika has an amazingly beautiful, powerful voice. She sang a new song dedicated to Wadi Gad, who was recently deported to Trinidad after being held in jail for way too long. Malika will be playing at the Monterey Reggaefest in September.
